With the advent of the 21st century, many new products have emerged, and items such as LED backlight panels have become products used by many people. LED backlight panels not only have the advantages of low power consumption and high brightness, but also have advantages in heat dissipation performance and service life. In the past two years, more and more businesses in various fields have adopted LED backlight panels.
The principle of LED backlight panel is a chip composed of P-type semiconductor and N-type semiconductor. A thin-layer PN junction with special conductivity appears at the interface of P-type semiconductor and N-type semiconductor. The PN junction can resist the diffusion movement of majority carriers in P-type semiconductors and N-type semiconductors. When a forward voltage is applied to the PN junction, current flows from the anode to the cathode of the LED, and the minority carriers and majority carriers in the PN junction recombine, and the excess energy is converted into light and released. LED realizes electro-optical conversion based on this principle. Depending on the different physical properties of semiconductor materials, LEDs can emit light of different wavelengths and colors from ultraviolet to infrared.
LED light panels can be seen everywhere in our daily lives. For example, using white LED light diodes instead of CCFTs as the backlight source of displays can reduce the power consumption and enhance environmental protection. Since the LED backlight panel does not require a lamp tube, the thickness of the light guide plate is greatly reduced, and the thickness of the entire set of light guide plates can be reduced by approximately half.
