Laser dotted light guide plate

A light guide plate (LGP) is derived from advanced processing based on its physical properties. A laser-dotted light guide plate efficiently transforms point or linear light sources into various shapes of surface light sources. The physical principle typically involves mounting high-brightness LED lights on the edges of a high-transparency acrylic (PMMA) plate of certain thickness. The LED light propagates within the acrylic plate at a specific divergence angle. When the light hits the laser-etched dots on the back of the acrylic, created with a CO₂ (carbon dioxide) laser, it undergoes diffuse reflection and refraction.
